Stiv Heks – Kom i Form Gå i Oppløsning up for preorder! (Out des 6)

Once in a while an unique artist pops up; Stiv Heks is an artist, music puzzler and game developer from Kristiansand, Norway. As part of the duo Samvær Under Tilsün he has made a wide range of playful and technological projects such as Det Elektriske Korps, which is a non-marching band of drum machines and the augmented table tennis system called Pling Pong.

The music on his first album on Metronomicon is melancholic, naive and beatiful.
The title refers to the notion of everything is constantly coming together only to
collapse and form new structures. Wobbly warbly synths and playful melodies makes this sound like an album you heard as a kid but have rediscovered lately. These are dreamlike jingles as suprising as they are enjoyable!

Limited editon of 100 copies with three stickers! Bandcamp and LP only!
For fans of early Kim Hiortøy, the Häpna label and weird electronic music in general.

Now we’ve got Members – Shadow of the Object

Out on LP/DL now!

Imagine a swedish/bulgarian band bonding with a greek rockabilly gang, sharing an electric goat cheese to end the night at a rave in Platos cave.

This time they drove to Tønsberg to buy a reel 2 reel tape machine, the music is not exactly retro but a combo of old and new: What even is folk-rock in the 2020s?

The band have released two EP’s and seven albums which like the new one is released by norwegian cult label Metronomicon Audio.

Tamiko – små spor

Out friday 20th september! Presave or stream here!

«Små spor» («tiny tracks») is a collection of free-roaming ambient tracks by bedroom producer Tamiko. They were made with samplers and synths and grouped together due to a lack of other finished songs. The tracks make fine background music for having your morning coffee, walking to the bus, or getting ready for bedtime.

For fans of Biosphere, simplicity and filter cutoffs.

New 7″ Hanny – Xantofylla

Hanny releases new music on the 7-inch Xantofylla, an ode to the pigment that gives the yellow colour in petals. The music carries with it moments so precious that a camera would ruin them. The A-side Hareskoven is for everyone who is looking for 2024’s most catchy melody, or who has a sentimental yearning for Danish nature. The B-side Psaligrafi is the band’s own etude with harp zither, synth, guitar and clarinet in quartet. Hanny has been an active part of Oslo’s music scene since the debut Moderning in 2005. Xantofylla is the band’s third release on vinyl.
Hanny is Marie Borgersen Kvamme (vocals, guitar, synth, harp zither, diatonic accordion), Dag Ivan Homlong (guitar, bass) and Roy Amundsen (guitar, bass, drums).

Xantofylla is produced by Hanny and Thomas Meidell. Music and lyrics by Marie Borgersen Kvamme, master by Marius Ergo and graphic design by Aslak Gurholt/Yokoland.

The music is released by Metronomicon Audio and distributed by Diger Distro.
Releaseparty saturday june 8th at Mir, where the stage is filled with the band’s love of waltz, grunge and dance bands. Warming up by the epically marvellous S.l.y.c.
